sculpture 6

This week was a tough one for me for some reason.  I just was struggling with getting it right.  But My instructor just told me to relax and not worry about parts not being perfect and moving through it and gradually coming back and fixing things.  that was good advice for me, and also applies to my job, I sometimes can get all caught up in something not being perfect and wasting time on it, and just need to leave it and address it later.  Anyways here it is.

akuma head

I was able to spend a little time last night on akumas head, here is the progress.

Sculpture 5

So here is my 5th one.  So far I would say this is my best attempt.  Starting to figure it out a little, but still tons to learn.  The pose was good, so that helps a lot.  Anyways, 4 more to go in the class, hopefully they will continue to improve.  Being the halfway mark, I for sure have learned some things, especially looking back at my first one.  Just being able to control the clay better helps a lot.  As always I am looking forward to the next class!

George begging for food.

Installed new exhaust and rejetted my carbs

So last night, Josh and i decided to put on the new exhaust system (DandD race exhaust) , and rejet my bike.  Neither of us have rejetted a bike, so it was a learning experience.  We had a few slow downs, but now that I have done it, I think it would be way easier the second time.  All in all, it took just under 5 hours.  A few things added a lot of time, just because we were confused.  Anyways it was a lot of fun, and we learned some good things.  I took some photos of the new exhaust, and posted a time lapse video we made.  The new exhaust is a lot louder, but not to annoying or anything.  The only thing that I have to get used to it, the ground clearance, it isn't to great, so I will just have to be cautious!  Anyways check it!
