Today was a long day.

So we arrived in Europe today and then drove from paris to brussels.
We have only slept like 2 hours in the last 36 or so. So I am off to
bed to start tomorow early!!

akuma update

Hey guys, here is an update on akuma. I worked on the base some here.  I am wanting him to be standing inside a crater and rock pieces are coming up, so it looks like energy is flowing, hopefully when finished it will feel like that.  Also my friend Cecil, is going to help me pre viz the lighting, i am very excited to see what he comes up with, he is a very talented artist.

So here is the 7th one.  It was tough sculpting the legs crossed like that.  We have one more class left and then i think i am going to take the class again.  it is tough stuff, i was telling yury and patrick I always feel so dominated after class, it is really mentally and physically exhausting, it is hard to explain until you do it.  I think in those 3 hours i am more tired after classed than i am after a full work day, it is weired.

So I tried to set up the pose tonight with Akuma. I am thinking of doing this with extreme perspective because most Street Fighter concept art has extreme perspectives. Anyways, here is the first pass.

This week was a tough one for me for some reason.  I just was struggling with getting it right.  But My instructor just told me to relax and not worry about parts not being perfect and moving through it and gradually coming back and fixing things.  that was good advice for me, and also applies to my job, I sometimes can get all caught up in something not being perfect and wasting time on it, and just need to leave it and address it later.  Anyways here it is.
